Prefers medium moisture, well-drained soil and full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Sheer plants back by 1/3 after flowering to encourage new growth and maintain compact growth habit. In cold winter climates mulch plant in winter for protection. Stems may root where they touch the ground and can be left or transplanted.

Evergreen in warmer climates and semi-evergreen in areas with very cold winters. Small white flowers in dense, flattened clusters bloom in early to late spring. Oblong, narrow, leathery, green leaves. Great for rock gardens and as an edging plant for borders and walkways.
